I enjoyed the first two weeks of the detox. I started the first day of the watermelon only and felt sick to my stomach. I stopped doing the detox after that. I am not a huge watermelon fan. Anyway, I lost about 10 pounds and felt pretty good after the two weeks. I plan to do this again and will try to follow through with the whole month. I will probably do it in January after the holidays. I think it may have been better if I had gotten the protein powder.I think I will do that next time.

Robyn Openshaw's 26-Day Detox is the real deal. It is a comprehensive, well designed and tested program with a wealth of truly healthy practices that I have wanted to incorporate over an extended period of time, but haven't had the structure and support to make it a reality, until NOW. This is not a fad or a bunch of fake convenience food, the Green Smoothie Girl's Detox gets to the root of health issues and for me it became about the deepest healing for my organs, especially my intestines and liver than I have ever experienced. Each day I became more aware of how the cells of my organs were responding to not receiving sugar, salt, or additives and releasing, as well as getting all the nourishing life foods that were easy to digest. It felt like I was giving my insides a needed break and a huge amount of love every day. During and since the Detox I have less pain in general, improved skin texture, feel calmer, sleep better, go to bed earlier and get up earlier than normal and have more energy, clearer thinking, a sense of accomplishment for learning new things, improved lymphatic flow, improved digestion, do not have cold feet and hands any more. I have continued healthy practices and I think that is due to the immense education gleaned from reading her e-mails, manual and listening to Robyn interview other experts and doctors who had reviewed her Detox. Robyn is like having your best most caring and knowledgeable friend guiding and encouraging you to do what you know is right. This detox is a challenge but everything is in place for success, it's just a matter of trusting that our body will thank us for it and choosing in, to join others that keep coming back every Six months to get the benefits. Robyn has developed detailed written material and a wide variety of recipes and options. I have pretty serious health issues and I was a little nervous about being able to do it, but there were options for each of those. The facebook support was phenomenal, getting to be on live with Robyn to ask questions an hear how she is still detoxing and the most up to date experiences she is having. Her expert support leader Helen has years of experience and is "all in" to help, give encouragement and find answers if needed. I really liked the helpful books. They were very step by step and showed things could that could happen in each phase of the detox, and what you could do to counter those issues.
